# Organizational profile

# Configure your organizational profile

To access the Organization Settings page, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner. On this page you will be able to update your organizational profile with the following fields:

  • Upload a profile picture
  • Add the name of your organization
  • Add a brief description of what your organization does

# Configure organization labels

Next, under the Configurations tab, you can customize Activity to display labels that match how your organization's structured.

  • Workflow levels: Customize how projects are managed in Activity to align with your organization is structured. The defaults are:
    • Programs
    • Projects
    • Components
    • Activities

There are additional labels that can be renamed:

  • Indicators
  • Location sites
  • Stakeholders
  • Forms
  • Form library labels:
    • Individual
    • Distribution
    • Training

Additionally you can choose the specific system formats you would like to use for display in Activity:

  • Currency
  • Date
  • Language
  • Theme color

# Configuring modules

Under the organization settings, you can configure your Activity organization with standard taxonomy used in your organization. This is a great way to help your organization build upon existing standards across projects and indicators. Under each module, you can add key information that's used by your organization and M&E teams.

# Workflow module

  • Fund Code: This is a list of Fund Codes used to track funding pipelines from your key donor organizations.

# Indicator module

  • Data collection frequency: This is a list of the common frequency intervals that data is collected for indicators.
  • Level: This is a list of the levels used in your monitoring and evaluation (M&E) logical or results frameworks to structure your theory of change and related indicators.
  • Indicator Type: This is a list of indicator types used by your M&E teams. Common types are custom or ad-hoc indicators used in individuals projects or standard indicators used across multiple projects or part of a larger theory of change or indicator library.

# Component module

  • Location type: This is a list of location types tracked in Activity. Common types are: project sites, warehouse, or government offices.
  • Office: This is a list of offices in your organization such as Head office, Middle East Regional Office, or Jordan Country Office.
  • Stakeholder type: This is a list of stakeholder types used by your organization. Common stakeholders types are: funding organizations, partner organizations, consortium members, local government, or civil society organizations.
  • Project status: This is a list of the statuses a project can take. Common statuses are: Ready, In progress, In review, Completed, or Delayed.

# Map module

The map configuration helps us define the positioning and placement of map view on the Activity dashboard. Activity has the option to select a default country administrative boundary of your choice so that it can provide more context to your project maps.

Here are the fields that need to completed in order to configure your map view:

  • Country code: This is used to select a country's administrative boundary available from our open data repository (opens new window). This follows 2 digit ISO 3166-2 format (opens new window).
  • Admin boundary: This is used to specify which administrative level (Level 0 to 4) that you would like to display.
  • Description; This is an optional text field to describe the map view.
  • Latitude: This is a decimal field used to position the map in the map view.
  • Longitude: This is a decimal field used to position the map in the map view.
  • Zoom: This is integer field used to define the default zoom level in the map view.
  • Map placement: The map displayed can be used to automatically position the desired map placement for the map view. By moving the map to your desired position, it will update the above fields accordingly.
