# Account setup

This assume you have set up your own version of Activity. For more information on the set up and installation, please see our Github (opens new window).

# Register new account

To set up your Activity account by navigating to <YOUR-HOSTED-URL>/accounts/register/user/none/>. To register, you'll need to complete the following fields:

first name
last name
username
email address
password

Once filled out, click Sign up and you should receive an email in your inbox. Go to your email inbox to complete the registration process. The registration email will look like this:

# Forgot password

If you have forgotten your password, you can click on Forgot password link on the Log In page or go to: <YOUR-HOSTED-URL>/accounts/user/password_reset/. Enter the email your account is registered under and click Submit. Check your email inbox to complete the process.
